About Us

The Mosvold-Martinus Story

It began as a heart-felt wish to enable orphaned and vulnerable children to rise above their circumstances. The vision to create opportunities for children exposed to abuse, exploitation, neglect, lack of love and care, were the founding principles of the Foundation.

Our Approach

Our interventions aim to achieve large scale, positive changes through education, skill development and pro poor microfinance programs to acquire sustainable livelihood skills and opportunities that enable people regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, illiteracy and social injustice to realize their potential and become the agents of their own development and sustainable progress

Our Vision

Creating Platforms for Progress

We envision self-reliance as platform for progress for underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka, creating avenues for greater inclusiveness and participation in society.

We work as a catalyst to bring about sustainable change in the lives of people of entrenched poverty that enables the underprivileged communities in Sri Lanka, to engage proactively in the social and civic driven change to build a value driven society. We envision a nation where destitute people will no longer be witnessed as the exception to the rule but as relevant assets and necessary additions to the community who will be able to transcend the injustice, indignity, and inequality within a society.
