Children

Nurture & Nourishing

At Mosvold-Martinus Foundation, we support local partners to act as family to orphaned, neglected, destitute and abandoned children in our care. We take responsibility for their holistic development by providing them with a safe, family environment for optimal growth and development, while recognizing each child’s unique personality and potential.

Education

Abounding Opportunities

Education remains a crucial component to accomplishment. Our educational initiatives cater to women, children and communities; from orphaned, abandoned and neglected children, to youth and women requiring vocational training to escape the trap of poverty, we remain focused on providing quality education as a solution out of poverty, family circumstances, crime and social inequality.

Youth Empowerment

Enabling Hope

We enable vocational training, targeting school dropouts, so as to provide them with a beacon of hope to move out of poverty, while reducing the incidence of crime. Vocational training equips youth to integrate well into society. The overall objective of this project is to enhance leadership and life skills of youth, through a mindset transformative approach, for a more positive and impactful change in their lives.

Women and Development

Enabling Dignity

We empower women by enabling their income-earning opportunities, through development of sustainable streams of livelihoods and income generation activities. This includes community empowerment programmes, skills development training and a market support system, to enable them to have control over their lives.

Community Development

Resilient Communities

This focus area targets communities located in a Disaster Reduction Zone, vulnerable to flooding and instability in livelihood and day-to-day life, as a result. The project allows for financial and emergency affairs response, for up to five villages in this area. Furthermore, this community development project in effect, is designed to empower civil society participation for individuals to collectively fight poverty through a communal cooperative strategy. This includes the improvement of socio-economic conditions, the building of leadership skills and social values
